Sponsored Player Derek Crothers has been growing tournament play in the Winchester/Front Royal VA area for over 7 years.
Derek explains it all started as a weekly “Chip” tournament in which 16-20 friends he had gotten to know from competing in regional tournaments would get together. Today you can expect to find a field of up to 45 players coming from counties over to compete in his weekly and monthly events.
I can tell you from observing the forums the Winchester Action Tournaments fill up quickly.
This past weekend (SP) Tiffany Lear and (SP) Derek Crothers took home the second-place prize in a Scotch Doubles tournament. We are extremely proud of this duo who often manages to find the prize money when partnered.
